We've disabled your mailbox editing tool because of a technical error

Trying to set up a new email account however system displays error 'We've disabled your mailbox editing tool because of a technical error'. It seems many have the problem without a proper reply to resolve this issue. Please let me know how I can resolve it. 

Is there a better system working now with Microsoft 365 or should I still use bigpond mailboxes?
