Webmail marking emails as spam

Webmail keeps marking some of my emails as spam when they are definitely not spam.  I keep marking them as not spam, but they still keep getting caught.  Why?

Also, when I mark the emails as not spam, they get put back in my inbox but are marked as read so my outlook cannot identify and download them.  Why?  What possible purpose could there be for marking these as read?

How about Telstra does something about this?
