Webmail timeout when selecting inbox

Hi

After I log in, an Error message

 

This request took longer and timed out.

Sending emails is a problem as well

 

I manged to filter emails based on searched for a persons name.

After hitting 'send' the page is spinning on "sending message

The number of emails on the server should not effect accessing the site. It is either a web browser fault, a fault with the web mail site or problem with your internet connection. If you are using a Web browser try clearing the browsers cache. Close the browser and then try re logging into web mail.

I usually use safari, I've cleared our the cache and cookies, with no change in result

 

I've logged on using FF for the fist time with the same result as well.

Chrome is also exhibiting the same behavior or is painfully slow

That would lean away from being a bowers issues wouldn't you agree.

Yes it would indicate it is not a browser issue. Have you tried using a browser on a Smart phone or tablet?

We are working to fix an issue that means some customers are unable to access Telstra mail (e.g. @bigpond.com addresses) via https://tel.st/hu8u9. Meanwhile, your email is still available via https://tel.st/san6m and webmail apps.
