New nbn connection

I spoke with a representative in-store at Smithgfield on Wednesday morning 18/4 and 'aranged' to commence arrangemets for the connection of NBN.  The representative stated that i would receive and e-mail eithger that afternoon or the following day, confirming bthe order and providing details. To date, no information has been received.

Whjat is the status of my requested connection?  

P.S. It took four separate attempts to actually manage to get to speak to a representative and I don't want to go through that process again.
