Compatibility of T503 cordless handset with NBN Gateway Max (TG799)

Up to now, I have been using T-Voice on my Android mobile, and it mostly worked fine, but recently had some reliability problems (connecting to gateway).

As the T-Voice App is no longer supported I was considering buying a T503 handset as it would be a good alternative. However I am not sure if it is compatible with the TG799 NBN Gateway Max I have - could you advise?

The alternative is to use a standard cordless, but as the modem is in the garage I would need to install a base station in the garage?

Is there an alternative

  • Yes it was, thank you

While officially the only supported phone is the T-Voice 502 (Which is now discontinued), any DECT 2.0 phone should, in theory, be fine. This does include the 503
