T-Voice 503 cordless not working

The phone rings but can't hear anyone. The person on the other end can only hear loud screeching sounds. When making a call there is no dial tone but the screen shows a call in use. Did a line test an its ok. Nbn is working.

Assuming the handset/s are OK, batteries charged, you might have a pairing problem..


Maybe try power cycling (turn off/remove power  wait a couple of  minutes then turn back on/plug back in) the modem as a first step..


Check if the phone works..


If not, then you should try unpairing the handset/s then repair them..


What sort of Telstra modem do you have (label on the bottom usually)?

If the line test came back clean, please speak with NBN technical support. 

Please speak with our team via the My Telstra App messaging service (link here Just click on the "Get Help" menu icon and then click on the "Message Us" button and type "NBN phone technical support" and a member of our team will be in touch to assist you with this. If you get stuck on the Codi chat bot, you can type "Consultant" to get through to a team member. 
You can also try calling on 133933 but wait times are long at the moment as we are still recovering from the events of the last 6 to 9 months and the impacts this has had on our call centres.
