App not working on Samsung tv

I have a Samsung tv with all current software updates bigpond movie app is suddenly telling Me a network connection has timed out
when I check connection info via app it says I have no connection and contact Telstra to connect to a plan 

all other apps are working and internet is definitely connected and running fine.

BigPond movies app on Samsung tv

I have a Samsung smart tv all apps are working except bigpondmovie app it tells me a network connection has timed out 

when I check connection info via app it says I have no connection.

but all other internet apps are working fine ie Netflix Stan presto 

it has all latest updates so not sure why it is doing this

Have you updated the Bigpond Movie app since May 8th?

 

If not, follow these instructions:

From 8 May, go to the Samsung TV App store on your Smart TV.

Search for BigPond Movies.

Update BigPond Movies by selecting ’update’ on the App page.

Open the BigPond Movies App and enter your Telstra ID to log in.

Never be afraid to back yourself when trying new things, just always make sure you have 3 escape routes if things go wrong.
