Bigpond Movie audio
Need help?! Every time I play a HD movie from Bigpond movies on my Telstra Tv 3. The audio is in 2ch digital audio.
The specs say that Telstra Tv 3 supports up to 7.1. I set the audio setting to Auto in settings then I check it it when the movie plays to find it shows that the audio signal is DTS. I’ve checked my Sony home theatre system and it working fine. Why buy or rent a movie in 2019 from Bigpond in HD to just get 2ch Digital audio it’s very disappointing.

Re: Bigpond Movie audio
DTS is a Surround Sound codec (5.1 or 7.1 usually), so you should be getting better than 2ch audio.
Never be afraid to back yourself when trying new things, just always make sure you have 3 escape routes if things go wrong.
