Cant play while downloading

Since the new no-good movie download we can't watch movies while downloading. We've waited half an hour for movie everyone's gone to bed, movies at 59% and still no play?? This is third time. It's Ethernet connected like less than a meter from modem less than a meter away from wall which cost me $180 to do under telstra advice to "speed up my internet" please explain and can I get refund as I'm sitting here alone watching a blank screen as the elections are bloody boring!!!!
