Teletext (Austext) ceased in 2009. Channel 7 used to run it.

 

Telstra TV cannot support it due to it not having existed for almost 12 years.

Never be afraid to back yourself when trying new things, just always make sure you have 3 escape routes if things go wrong.

Apologies for my previous post reply which I have wiped as I misunderstood your question thinking it was in relation to a special Teletext machine for hearing impaired people.

 

Do you mean Closed Captions on the Telstra TV and in App Settings if applicable rather than the old Teletext system on Free-To-Air TV?  I don't know if it available on all Telstra TV models and any specific CC enabled films selected for viewing.

Closed Captions are available on all models. They availability is dependent on the content provider.
