Telstra TV³ initially connected wirelessly, then updated, and now won't connect.

Brand new TTV³ box, connected everything, then powered up. Went through the process of connecting to my wifi just fine, then a pop-up came up on screen saying it was updating and would restart. It restarted, got as far as the Network setup where it says I'm connected to my wireless network, but only gives me the option to either "update connection" or "set up new wireless connection". I don't need to set up a new connection, so obviously all I can do is select "update connection", but when I do, it won't connect to my wireless at all. So I'm stuck in an endless loop of trying to connect and having to restart to try again, over and over again, but I'm getting nowhere other than extremely frustrated...
