Telstra TV3 not

OK. My Telstra TV3 works ok. I have linked the remote to the TV and the Telstra TV. When i use the Roku remote to turn off the TV and then to turn the TV back on the Telstra TV is no longer there. Just a white screen with snow and the HDMI 1 notification. I have to reboot the Telstra TV everytime I turn the TV on and off.

Theres a message that comes up now and then about  (something) RC active (cant remember exact wording). I have followed all the instructions and have reset the entire thing from scratch. I went to TV manufacturer for some way to fix it and that was unsuccessful.

Has anyone else had this issue and how do i fix it?

Was this helpful?

  • Yes it was, thank you
  • No, I still need help

Hi @PeterR9

See what happens when you turn the TV back on and change to say HDMI 2 then back to HDMI 1.

My body's absorbed so much hand sanitizer that when I pee, it cleans the toilet. 🙂

Re: Telstra TV3 not

Would be quicker and easier than rebooting the TTV3 completely though??

Try turning off the TTV3 Remote function to the TV and see if that helps the problem?

You can also turn of the One Touch option..

Re: Telstra TV3 not

It's found in setting of the TTV3

Re: Telstra TV3 not

My guess is it is something to do with the control channel on the HDMI input, so I would have expected using a different IP on the TV would give a result... so if you have already tried another input and/or cable already that would be my only other suggestion. I don't have (and can't replicate) the problem sorry, my units work fine..

Re: Telstra TV3 not

After you have turned the YV off, when you come back in and TTV isn't showing, what happens if you push the home or back button?

Re: Telstra TV3 not

Ok. I have unplugged the cables and put them into different hdmi port. I have no idea how to change the IP.

The ttv works fine if I reboot it. Then I turn TV off and back on and.... no TTV. The lights blink but nothing on screen. Presssed ALL the buttons. No result.

Many other suggestions.

i will do a factory reset and re install the ttv

IP - Input..  Smiley Happy

try all the inputs you can and even a different cable..

Are you using the TV remote to turn the TV on and off? NOT the TTV one?
