To Block Wi-Fi devices you don't use the parental controls. Look for Access control in the Advanced Wi-Fi settings. See section 19 of documents linked in these posts. There are two modes, a white list which only allows devices on list to connect or a black list which blocks devices on the list.

Be aware that a lot of current devices allow the user to allow the device to use random MAC addresses.

This can make it quite difficult to successfully control access via wifi..  you might need to monitor and add multiple MAC's for a single device..  it can take some time if there are lots of wi-fi devices.

Re: How to block wifi to devices on my home wifi using MAC address

Blocking by MAC address is quite impractical these days as most newer mobile devices use a random MAC address.

Setting a whiltelist would be more reliable, just remember to set your devices to use the device MAC address and not a randomised one.

Never be afraid to back yourself when trying new things, just always make sure you have 3 escape routes if things go wrong.
