Telstra account security

Why is Telstra basically stuck in the 90s when it comes to security? No 2fa. No device recognition. No history. Alpha numeric passwords with a 16 character max. This would have been insecure over a decade ago. We should really be pushing to them to provide up to date security standards for accounts. 


Has anyone heard anything about them updating this?

No. But you're right, the security on Telstra's publicly facing systems is not up to scratch and needs modernising.

Never be afraid to back yourself when trying new things, just always make sure you have 3 escape routes if things go wrong.
