telstra id creation process broken

Trying the create a telsta ID for my Mum and enter all the details and get up to the point where is says confirm my identity and provides a single selection for an email address we don't recognise (p*****@b**.au). Is this a feature as it's not the email address we provided for the account creation.

No. It's not a feature. It's either a fault in the system, or another address is recorded against your mother's account.

 

Give 132200 a call (you'll need your mum on the call unless you are an authorised contact on the account) and they should be able to sort it out.

Never be afraid to back yourself when trying new things, just always make sure you have 3 escape routes if things go wrong.
