Is Telstra making changes?

Yes. From 1 July 2019, we will be making some price changes to some home phone plans and bundles.

 

What’s changing?

From 1 July 2019, the Monthly Access charge for select Home Phone plans and Home Internet Bundles will increase.

 

Why is Telstra making these changes?

We understand that there is never a good time to make changes to our prices and we don’t make these decisions lightly, however we review our pricing from time to time and the changes are a result of the increased cost of doing business.

When will the price changes happen?

All price changes take effect from 1 July 2019.

How are we letting customers know about the changes?

We are writing to impacted customers in May to notify them of the changes. We have also updated our website and brochures with new prices.

How do I know what plan I’m on?

Just check your most recent Telstra bill. The name of the plan will be listed against each service.

Are there any benefits for combining more than one service with Telstra?

Yes - you may want to consider our Internet plans that offer great, included value. You can change over to these at any time.

I’m not happy with these new changes, what are my options if I don’t want to pay these new charges?

We have other great plans that may suit your needs and help ensure you get the best value.

Upgrade to our Ultimate Voice plan for only $55 per month with unlimited local, national Australian mobile calls to standard Australian numbers. You may also want to consider our Internet plans that offer great value or our Internet and Foxtel from Telstra package.
We can help you choose the right bundle to suit your needs.  Otherwise, if you are still not happy with these new changes to your home phone or bundle pricing, you can cancel your plan without early termination charges.
